Many of you asked us to do that VUDU that we do… and we did. The Internet apps are back and ready for love. From Picasa, to Flickr, to free on-demand TV, to the ever popular Pandora, and a few casual
games. These apps – previously hosted under the VUDU Labs tab on the VUDU box – are alive and well and living on VUDU enabled TV’s.
These great Internet apps add a ton of fun and free activities to the VUDU experience. Our complete set of Internet apps are available to VUDU box and Mitsubishi customers for now*.
We plan on releasing more Internet apps in the next few months, so comment below with some of your favorites. In the meantime, give our current Internet apps a spin and tell us what you think!
* Internet apps are not available on devices from LG Electronics at this time. Please refer to LG Electronics at www.lge.com/us/support/contact/support-message.jspif you have questions.

November 18, 2009 at 11:54 amI really like the “labs” apps and there are many more of those that I would like to see evolve. I am a developer so I know that this takes a lot of work. Still, I would really like the ability to extend my Vudu box by plugging in custom applications that i write or that i could buy – like the iPhone does. I think it would be great if you guys thought about a public API and an “app store”, if you will. I believe it would make the device even more appealing.
Just a thought.
Have a great day!

November 18, 2009 at 11:56 amPS – I would REALLY love some API or functionality for other wireless inputs (specifically keyboard) as using the current controller for “scroll-and-click-typing” is painful.

November 19, 2009 at 12:09 pmGreat idea on allowing users to write their own apps. Stay tuned…
On the wireless input devices, what kind of devices would you like to see supported?

April 24, 2011 at 3:23 pmSIRIUS XM app would be appreciated by those of us subscribed to their internet radio service. My VIZIO Player with the VUDU apps has been an entertainment bonanza. I just need one more

June 24, 2011 at 9:17 amYou are missing some serious apps that even Vizio TVs have. Radiotime and Hulu Plus support are seriously needed.
