This week sees the release of 13 new titles available to view from the comfort of your own home!
Insidious – From the makers of Paranormal Activity, INSIDIOUS is the terrifying story of a family who, shortly after moving, discovers that dark spirits have possessed their home and that their son has inexplicably fallen into a coma. Trying to escape the haunting and save their son, they move again only to realize that it was not their house that was haunted. Available beginning July 12 to rent in SD and own in SD, HD, and HDX!
The Lincoln Lawyer – A slick, charismatic Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Continental sedan. Having spent most of his career defending petty, gutter- variety criminals, Mick unexpectedly lands the case of a lifetime: defending a rich Beverly Hills playboy who is accused of attempted murder. However, what initially appears to be a straightforward case with a big money pay-off swiftly develops into a deadly match between two masters of manipulation and a crisis of conscience for Haller. Available beginning July 12 to rent and own in SD, HD, and HDX!
Rango – A chameleon that aspires to be a swashbuckling hero finds himself in a Western town plagued by bandits and is forced to literally play the role in order to protect it. Available beginning July 15 to own in SD!
Arthur – Kind-hearted, fun-loving, and utterly without purpose, Arthur spends every day in the heedless pursuit of amusement. But when his unpredictable public image threatens the staid reputation of the family foundation, Bach Worldwide, he is given an ultimatum: marry the beautiful but decidedly unlovable Susan Johnson (Jennifer Garner), an ambitious corporate exec who can keep him in line, or say goodbye to his billion-dollar inheritance and the only way of life he knows. Available beginning July 15 to own in SD and rent in SD, HD, HDX!

July 12, 2011 at 8:55 pmAbsolutely love the Vudu interface for PS3 and the quality of your streaming product as well as the title availability.
So much so that it’s made me abandon my (2) Apple TV’s for movie downloads (720 vs 1080 seriously) and the lack of new content on Netflix for PS3.
Just a thought, how about re-doing the “free movie” thing for people like you did at the PS3 launch? Have users use a promo code indicating your competitor’s new price increase? Use that as a new press release. The press alone would substantiate the cost (a one day or one weekend thing)

I want to switch from Netflix to you guys.

July 17, 2011 at 6:54 pmI would like to ask that you make rentals available for those of us using Chrome OS (Linux/Unix based systems) rather than restrict them to just PC and Mac. I would like to have a Netflix alternative since I am unable to watch movies through Netflix on Chrome OS at this time. Please consider adding this capability.
Thanks,
Branden

July 26, 2011 at 12:23 pmWill you add this to XBox 360? I’m not a HULU fan and this would be nice.
