Make Finding Dory movie night a-Dory-ble and fun with these activities. (Don’t worry, the movie is better than our puns.)
We’re celebrating the release of Disney/Pixar’s Finding Dory on digital with some fin-freaking-tastic ideas for creating a fun Finding Dory movie night. It’s fun, easy to buy and stream, and you get to watch in the comfort of your own home in HDX 1080p! Not to mention the fact you get to pause whenever you need a bathroom break. Youuuuu welcooome!
First things first. Buy Finding Dory on Vudu. It’s available now in HDX.
Then gather the kids and family for the fun. If you’re up for it, have your kids invite their friends too. It’s not like you need to get extra movie tickets – the more the merrier! No kids? No problem, friends are family too!
Now have some pre-movie fun:
Have the kids enter our #VUDUdoodle contest: Draw your best Dory and tweet a picture of it with #VUDUdoodle for a chance to win an original Finding Dory illustration + Art of Finding Dory book + Dory prize basket! Submit through 10/31/16.
Make a paper plate aquarium: Don’t knock the arts and crafts! Kids will get a kick out of being creative and customizing their own aquarium. And you will too. (Especially if you put some extra, ahem, seawater into the jello cups, below.)
Cook up some snacks: Fish sticks and sushi? I kid, I kid. Drop some candy fish into berry gelatin for some ocean-themed jello cups, melt up some quesa-dory (see what we did there?), or just pour some goldfish crackers in a fish bowl. If you sense a feeding frenzy, bake up one of these stuffed sea shells recipes.
That’s all there is to it. You can start the movie whenever you want, pause to get more snacks, or rewind if you miss something. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
